Resolutions of a Blogger...

So it's a new year and here I sit looking at a long-neglected blog and a neglected set of websites. Well, a new year is a time for new beginnings they say, so let's see what I can do.

This year I plan to update this blog more often. I may not hit NaBloPoMo levels (where your blog is updated every day) but I am currently planning to update it at least several times a week.

I'm also planning on updating the web sites more often. My goal this year is to update The Game Pile with at least 100 new games this year. Yes, that's one every three daya. I may not get ten up every month but I plan to hit the 100 count by the end of the year.

I also plan to update 14kofginafpd here at least 2 or three times a week. This includes my long out-of-date TV summary listings (which you may notice has mysteriously disappeared from the site; you can still get to it via the Site Map link at the bottom of the page but I disabled normal access out of embarrassment). So expect TV listings, walkthroughs, random works of fiction and other things to start appearing here.

I'm going to be more active in my communities. The on-line kind that is. I've been a long-time member of several sites where no one knows me because I don't post or interact that often. That is going to change.

Generally, I plan to be more active and less passive. I've sat around absorbing the web for too long; it's time to start creating.

Will I succeed at all of this? Probably not. But I've published this out on the web now so if I don't, someone call me on it.
